As leaders in technical rope rescue training in the region we take pride in teaching emergency rope rescue teams in police, civil defense, and industry.

From Awareness to Technician level training, the rope rescue course integrates the most current technology and research on rope rescue available. Each course is designed to take students from basic over-the-bank rescues to progressively more vertical scenarios. Students will spend sometime in the classroom and days in the field learning and practicing techniques such as:
 
  • preplanning and size-up of rope rescue operations
  • scene management and organization
  • knots, hitches, and anchor systems
  • belaying, lowering and raising systems
  • ascending and descending lines
  • mechanical advantage systems
  • patient packaging & litter attending
  • special problems and helicopter use

From one day awareness courses to in-depth mountain technical rope rescue we offer the whole range of Rescue 3 NFPA 1670 certified courses. If you are faced with a specific rope related challenge we can develop a customized curriculum to fit your needs.
